TableJump is operated by TableJump LLC, a New York limited liability company. This policy describes how TableJump LLC handles information when you use the website or the iOS app.

What TableJump does

TableJump watches restaurant availability and, when it detects an opening that matches a watch, sends a notification with a book link. You finish any booking yourself in the official Resy, SevenRooms, or DoorDash app. TableJump does not book, hold, or cancel reservations for you.

Information you provide

Account. An email and a password, or a Sign in with Apple, Google, or GitHub identifier. Passwords are stored only as a scrypt hash. TableJump LLC does not keep the password itself.
Watches. Restaurant, date, party size, time window, and platform.
Device. An optional Apple push token so the app can notify you.
Purchases. App Store transaction identifiers when you subscribe to TableJump. Apple processes the payment.

Information from reservation services

To check availability for a watch, TableJump may request public or account-scoped availability data from Resy, SevenRooms, DoorDash, or OpenTable. The site does not ask for a card number and does not store full card numbers.

TableJump does not book on your behalf. Any reservation you complete is between you and the restaurant through that reservation service.

Information created by using TableJump

A session cookie named resy_session after you sign in on the web. It is HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, limited to this site, marked Secure on HTTPS, and it expires after 30 days. It holds a signed user id and an expiry.
Live status messages sent to the browser that started a watch.
Server logs that can include error text, restaurant names, and dates.

How TableJump uses this information

TableJump LLC uses this information to create and sign in accounts, run watches, send notifications when an opening is detected, show history, and operate the site and the app. TableJump LLC does not sell personal information and does not use it for advertising.

Account deletion

On Account, choose Delete Account and type Agree. Deleting terminates your access. An active subscription ends immediately. No refunds are issued for cancellation.

Who else receives information

Resy, SevenRooms, DoorDash, and OpenTable. Calls made for a watch send the details that service needs to check availability. Their own policies cover what they do with that data.
Apple. Sign in with Apple and In-App Purchase are provided by Apple.
TableJump LLC administrators. An administrator can see your username, role, account status, and the dates your account was created. Administrators are not shown your password.

How long it is kept

Account records stay until you delete the account or TableJump LLC deletes it. Watches stay until they are removed. The session cookie lasts up to 30 days, or until you sign out. Push tokens stay until you remove the device or delete the account.

Your choices

You can sign out and cancel watches. Delete the account in the iOS app under Settings → Account, or email admin@tablejump.com. Deleting the TableJump account leaves your reservation-service accounts, and any reservation those services already hold, in place.

Children

TableJump is for people 18 and older.

Changes

TableJump LLC may update this policy. The date at the top will change. Using TableJump after an update means you accept the updated policy.
